Established in 1991 as Summers Funeral Homes – McMurtrey Chapel, the business was purchased by Jerry and Janette Rost in 2005 and later renamed Rost Funeral Home. Services include burial, cremation, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, ritual washing, incense burning, memorial diamonds through a partner provider, veterans services including military honors, ash scattering assistance, and certified celebrants. The location does not operate an on-site cemetery.
