It is part of Beers and Story, a family of funeral home locations serving Western Massachusetts. Originally established by Bert Beers in the early 1900s as the Bert L. Beers Funeral Home, the business became Beers and Story in 1950 following a partnership with Herbert Story. The funeral home provides burial, cremation, funeral and memorial services, and pre-need planning. It does not operate an on-site cemetery or crematory.
