Funeral flowers, sympathy flowers, plants and food baskets are normally sent to mortuaries, funeral homes, places of worship or the homes of the bereaved family
members upon hearing of the death.  Many traditional funeral services include a viewing time or visitation period before the actual funeral service, and these can be held at
the funeral directors home or local church. If you hear of the families loss after the funeral has taken place, it is customery to send flowers or gifts to the bereaved families
home.  It is very important that when sending flowers for the funeral service to make sure they arrive before the start of the funeral.  Funeral directors deal with funeral
flowers on a daily basis and if they arrive early or at the end of the previous day, there will not be any problems. 

Some people prefer to send Funeral flowers and sympathy flowers after the funeral service has taken place in order to let the families know that you are still thinking of
them and have not forgotten their loss.  Many bereaved relatives will find it very comforting to receive flowers or plants after the funeral has passed.

Different types of funeral flowers sent include: Sympathy Sprays, Specialty Arrangements, Wreaths, Sympathy baskets or Green plants & blooming plants.  These types
of funeral flowers are normally sent the funeral home or church.  Vase arrangments are normally sent the bereaved families home or place of work and they can be sent
before the funeral service or after the funeral service has taken place.
